EXPRESSING G R A T I T U D E

I’m starting off this newsletter a bit different. Next month will go back to our regular scheduled program, I promise! I still feel like I’m having a hard time getting back to “normal” after the hurricane that all of the sudden turned into busy season out of no where. Anyone else feel that way?

Can we start off by please talking about where this month went? Legit, November is over this week and I have no idea where it went, or the rest of 2017 for that matter.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving that recently passed (my personal favorite holiday because I LOVE to eat!), I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude. Gratitude for my incredible team who helps make Unearthed Vintage happen day in and day out. Gratitude for our wonderful clients who trust us to create memorable experiences at each of their events. Gratitude to each and every person who takes the time to read our monthly newsletters. Gratitude for being taught by my business coach, the importance of operating out of faith over fear, especially when fear is knocking at your door (looking at you, incredibly slow summer followed by Hurricane Irma + lots of lost business). Gratitude for my amazing husband, who works so hard as my partner in life, and in this business.

This year has been a bit of a roller coaster, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing, uplifting people. So, thank you. For everything.

Sending positive vibes,
Katie

Now onto your regularly scheduled newsletter…

N E W FINDS

paxton sofa
The Paxton Sofa has been with us for a few years, however he recently received an ivory makeover. Formerly a light grey, this 1950’s sofa is all neutraled-up (is that a thing?) and ready for your next event. Pair him with additional ivory items, or have some fun by incorporating some bright and bold colors into your design.  Email us to rent Paxton today! info@unearthedvintage.com

O L D FAVORITES

conrad dj booth
The Conrad DJ Booth came to us after chatting with some of our clients and learning they were looking for something a bit different than your standard white or LED light up DJ booth. Enter this design. Reclaimed barnwood facade. Hidden 6′ table for the DJ to work their magic. We have 2 of these in our collection. They can also be used as a bar, and work especially well in small spaces since this breaks down into 4 flat pieces for transport. Email us today to make the Conrad DJ Booth part of your next event!

DID YOU K N O W?

Did you know that we LOVE surveys? We love sending them, we love reading through the answers, and we even love completing them for our partners. Feedback is incredibly important to us, as is customizing every client experience. For that reason, we send out a short survey before each appointment. This allows us to get to know you better. We also send out a client satisfaction survey after each event. This is an anonymous way for our clients to truly let us know what their experience was like working with us, from their initial phone call, all the way to our delivery crew picking up our rentals at the end of the night. We use the feedback to grow and learn from each experience, and we’re thankful each time someone takes the time to share their experience with us. Do you have a survey that you send to your clients? We’d love to hear about it!

C O R E VALUES

Collaborate and Cultivate Community.
We want you to know who we are at our core, and what it is that makes our company culture so great (if we do say so, ourselves!) What does collaborate and cultivate community mean to us? Well, creating a community has been incredibly important to us from day one, both inside and outside of our company. Collaboration means we can all come together to create something memorable together. Whether that’s our team coming together to execute a flawless event, or our company coming together with other like-minded companies to do the same, collaborating with like-minded individuals and companies is what will take us all to the next level. We are constantly growing and learning thanks to those around us. Surrounding ourselves with other individuals and companies who will lift us up and better one another is such a beautiful thing. We are grateful to have a community we can lean on in the industry, and even more grateful that we have had the opportunity to create our own little community through our available memberships. (Shameless plug: if you’d like to be part of our community, send us an email to learn more! We have 4 spaces currently available to start as of December 1st.)

O P E N HOUSE

Come for a visit, stay for the prosecco and sweets (and great company)!
We hold our open house the last Wednesday of every month from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Come peruse the rentals, connect with the team, and meet all of our in-house members! The next one will be held after the New Year!

VENDOR L O V E

fernanda monfrinatti

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate (and very grateful) about my life. I was fortunate enough to marry the love of my life, to live in an amazing city (NYC) and to have a job I really enjoy doing. Besides that, I love traveling, especially to the beach during summertime, I am crazy about my dogs (rescued a few myself) and I love to go to my ballet class and to eat pizza. Why do you do what you do?
Since moving to NYC in 2011, becoming a bride and getting married in 2013 I fell in love with the wedding world. I planned my own wedding and when everything was over I missed it so much. So I wanted to help other brides, make their dream come true, and yet, do something unique and different. I wanted to bring creativity to this industry. Sounds cheesy but that’s exactly what I wanted.

What is your favorite piece from the Unearthed Vintage collection?
It is so hard to choose one piece! I love all Unearthed Vintage inventory! It’s chic and cool at the same time, mixes vintage and modern, it’s every planners dream to work with their pieces. But, If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Copper Remington Metal Chair.

What is your cocktail of choice?
As a true Brazilian girl, I have to say a caipirinha. With lots of different mixed fruits.

Are there any details you’d like to share with us?
Although I live in NYC, I plan weddings in Florida and in California and love to travel.

What is the best way for a potential client to reach you?

Thanks Fernanda. We love working with you!
